What's the worship music like? Mostly contemporary, upbeat, but worshipful as well.
What's the speaking like? Biblical teaching, with discussion break-outs and sometimes video clips, drama, songs.
What's the childcare like? Kids Club, youth and junior youth classes, nursery available if needed.
What's your favorite thing? Great informal atmosphere. We sit at tables instead of pews, and drink coffee and eat snacks during service. Great conversations.
What would you change? Not much.
Can I wear jeans? Everyone does, in summer, it's shorts and t-shirts, if you want. Pastor wears jeans too!

What's the worship music like?Mix of contemporary and hymns; praise band; choir

What's the speaking like?: Excellent pastor. Sermons are relevant, but scriptural.

What's the childcare like?: Well-staffed nurseries, children's programs, AWANA, youth group. All workers have had background checks.

What's your favorite thing?: The fact that the church's beliefs have remained the same over the years while the church itself has become more relevant to people's needs.

What would you change?: can't think of anything.

Can I wear jeans yes!

Name of church: Emmanuel Baptist Church

City: Clarksburg, WV

Website: currently under reconstruction, don't know til it's fixed

What's the worship music like? Pretty close to 50/50 hymns and newer praise choruses. No electric guitars or drums, but not afraid to mix it up as long as the focus is on God.

Preaching? Pastor Riggs is pretty straight to the point with much emphasis on scriptural context. He uses KJV but we're not KJV only. He does a good job with relevant stories and commentary.

Childcare: We have a nursery, and chldren's church up to 6th grade. I'm the youth pastor so I have to say that the youth ministry is great! There is always room to grow and improve, though.

Favorite thing? Probably the balance in the church in everything from the music and preaching to the customs and attitudes of the people. Plus we just purchased property to build a much-needed building on.

Change? maybe to have Pastor be a little more dynamic/outgoing and the people more accepting of newer music.

Jeans: Many do, even on Sun morning. I don't b/c I'm on the stage giving announcments and leading the choruses but the other services I always wear jeans.
