Immanuel Baptist Church
Madrid
www.ibcmadrid.com
It is an international, English-speaking church. The music is mainly contemporary (Vineyard/Passion, etc.) with some hymns mixed in, but with African drums, as well. Two pastors - one uses powerpoint for those of us who are "visual learners," and the other holds my attention with his relevant yet humble/approachable personality and style. Very Biblically sound.
Childcare/Sunday School available for all ages.
My favorite thing is the international-ness (is that a word?) of it. Someone once said that visiting IBC is like getting a picture of what heaven will be like - literally every tribe and tongue. Oh, and yes, you can wear jeans.

Iglesia Cristiana Evangelica de Chamartin (Madrid) www.ichamartin.com

A Spanish speaking Church in Madrid.

Music: contemporary. Many translated songs (from English).

Preaching: Short, straight to the point, delivered in a friendly tone (not your fire and brimstone style). Biblically sound. Relevant.

Child care and Sunday school are good. The children are invited forward before the preaching, and the whole congregation prays for them. There is a creche and three more groups.

My favorite thing: The church has "house groups" that meet during the week for closer fellowship. It's a great way to become part of the family.

Change? I can't think of any...

Sure, you can wear jeans!
