Smyrna Wesleyan Church

Smyrna, DE

http://www.smyrnawesleyan.com/

We have two Sunday morning services, 8:30 A.M. and 10:45 A.M. plus an evening service at 7:00 P.M. The early service is Contemporary and the second service is Traditional.
There is also a Wednesday evening 6:45 P.M. Bible study.

Preaching is expository with emphasis on practical application. PowerPoint and video are used to augment the preaching.

Childcare is provided during the two Sunday morning services.

My favorite thing is how friendly the folks are. We were made welcome from our first Sunday visit.

Our church is working on increasing our local community presence/service/outreach to become more visible in living out what we preach.

Yes, you can wear jeans...come as you are.

There are two services with different worship styles. At 9:15 it is a blend of contemporary and hymns, and at 11:00am it is traditional.
The teaching is solidly rooted in the word and culturally relevant. The pastoral staff are amazing teachers, and I love hearing them on Sundays.
You can absolutely wear jeans!

I love the people and pastors at our church. They are friendly and "down to earth" kind of people.

We are looking to have a greater presence within our community.

Definitely can wear jeans - some people even wear shorts!!!

Family Ministries
Bridgeville, DE

We meet at 9:30AM Sundays. Service begins with mostly contemporary worship (hymns by request), then communion, testimonies and teaching. Childcare is provided during worship and teaching; Sunday School is held during teaching.

Favorite thing is that the fellowship endeavors to be led in all things by the Holy Spirit. Casual clothing, including jeans, is the norm.
