Music: it changes up depending on the music team and time, but it's pretty middle of the road...(not really traditional, but not hardcore punk rock)...and the best thing is to watch the music team play because you really get the idea that the musicians wanted to be Jimi Hendrix when they grew up, but life made them worship team musicians...and they're not sad about that.

Speaking: Dave Pinckney usually preaches and he's a bit ADD, and has really good things to say that are applicable.

Childcare: The kiddos get taken out back and when they return they never look sad. Being an adult, I have not experienced the childcare, but I know the ladies are awesome and they take babies up to 6th grade...in different rooms of course.

Favorite thing: This is the first church (of many) where I don't feel guilty. I just feel accepted. You can really experience community there and it is encouraged by the leadership.

What I would change? Someday it would be nice to have our own building...and not have to set up and take down each week, but then we might get sidetracked with a million dollar addition...so I'm cool with it.

Jeans: Heck yes. Dave P wears them every Sunday from the pulpit. I would estimate that 50% of the congregation is wearing jeans on any given Sunday. Downsize that to 25% on Easter and Christmas.

What's the worship music like? typical rockband church with contemporary music and the occassional guitar solo. However I did not witness the semi-required metrosexual worship leader.

What's the speaking like? Short, sweet and to the point. I was only there once still it appeared to be pretty normal. The chairs are pretty comfy!

What's the childcare like? The childcare is called Rockolodeon. The level of organization and security is mind-blowing for a church. The enter the parents and the kid into the database and print out some stickers to label you and your kid. Next they give you a pager so if your kid is taking their turn as "that kid" you can be notified. They have some serious vetting process for the workers. It's top notch including one way glass for nervous parents of toddlers.

What's your favorite thing? They sell fair trade coffee.

What would you change? Nothing I went there once.

Can I wear jeans? Yep. You can wear jeans and bring coffee which as SCL readers know... is key!
