Worship? I'd say contemporary with a nice mix of different stuff, always a hymn or two thrown in there. Quite loud and up beat at times. Lasts fairly long. Usually featuring piano/drums/bass/guitar/few vocals/rotating other instruments. Not got a metrosexual worship leader(!).

Teaching is excellent. Same person (the pastor) almost every week, very biblically founded (usually doing a series on some book or t'other) and relevant. Kingdom focused (if that makes sense!). Quite long but well worth it. Can be followed on line which is good as lots of people in GVA are passing through rather quickly.

Childcare is improving all the time as there has been a big boom in children at the church of recent years. I'm not a parent but I have been encouraged to see the growth and how seriously they (the children) are being taken.

Hmmm, what is my favourite thing? I am a bit biased as I became a Christian here! I love how they welcome every newcomer to the church by name. Very good Young Adult group that is open and nonexclusive. Also, the Women's Ministry is very caring and growing in an exciting way.

Oh yeah and I love the international vibe - people come from all over the world. It is an English speaking church by the way.

Hard to say what I would change. Everywhere has it's flaws but I feel like this church is really working towards improving theirs and I don't like the idea of bad PR! I suppose due to the nature of the city it can be hard for some to get involved easily in church life - there is definitely room for inclusion but sometimes you may have to push a little harder to get noticed, what with the constant turn over.

And yes, you can definitely wear jeans. Anything you like really, it is a real mix of casual, smart, national dress...!

Worship music is contemporary, always including a children's song and sometimes a hymn. Crew is varied, we've got about 6-10 people up there, worship is for about 25-30 mins and volume is acceptable :-)

Great teaching, very much Bible-focused and down-to-earth.

Childcare is really amazing :) The kids (2 yrs and older) just love it and there are about 6 different age groups at the moment.

I love how church members are loving and honest, it's like a big family.

What would I change? Now that's difficult... Maybe I would try to make the church more accessible for Non-Christians.
Also... we are Swiss, so if you see no passion it doesn't mean we're not passionate inside... just still working on showing it to everyone :)

Please wear jeans - or anything else you like.
